Given the impact of Covid-19 restrictions, AILA is making its national October conference virtual. We look to inspire, educate and encourage industry conversations amongst our 3,500 members from across Australia and overseas, with an online landscape architecture event titled, Land-E-scape Week between 12 - 15, October
The Victorian Chapter is delighted to integrate its annual Blue meets Green (BMG) event as part of Land-E-scape Week. BMG is a premier event that addresses various, topical themes and case studies that highlight the importance of green infrastructure and integrated water management. Each year, the event attracts a cross-disciplinary audience of landscape architects, water engineers, local government, water utilities, and stormwater management professionals.
Tuesday, 13th October focuses on ways landscape architects are working to repair and rebalance the relationships between people and the physical environment.
At 1:10pm AEST, Herbert Dreiseitl will be keynote presenter for Blue meets Green. He will share and have an open discussion on the opportunities and challenges we are facing due to Covid-19 and from the unprecedented natural events, we’ve been experiencing (floods, bush fires, climate change) to create resilient, liveable cities with a focus on blue-green infrastructure.
