The Vortex
Single Hand Movement
Practicing the flow and structure of water with a single hand movement to allow oneself to control his or her momentum and tempo. To also understand the language between earth and water and water and sky.

Sketch & Draw
Sketches and drawings are done in-house where participants would sketch basic structures of water . Drawings curvy elements to using fluid thinking. We also hope to encourage participants to also look beyond and explore further into different aspects of relationship between art, design, landscapes, water and our environment
Hands-on Modelling
Participants would get in touch with clay and water to model the riverbed. One would develop and establish stronger relationships with water as participants are up-close to visualize and understand the flow dynamics of water.

Water Vortex
A vortex exercise encourages participants to take part in a swirling and twirling of cylinder of water which will showcase the forces and energy when applied in or on water. Kármán vortex street exercise helps one understand the logic behind the sciences and physics of density and fluidity and to also look at it from a design point of view where captivating patterns and shapes are formed through a single stroke across the water.
Kármán Vortex Street
To simulate a natural, fluid dynamic phenomenon known as Kármán vortex street. This exercise helps one understand the logic behind the sciences and physics of density and fluidity and to also look at it from a design point of view where captivating patterns and shapes are formed through a single stroke across the water. It is a form of turbulence that can occur at a variety of scales from the small to the very large.
