Impulse: Blue-Green Infrastructures to tackle Climate Challenges and Improve the Quality of Life, Ecology and Economy in our Cities by Herbert Dreiseitl

The newly launched ‘Value of Water Conference’, which Messe Frankfurt is organising together with Euroforum – A Company of the Handelsblatt Media Group – on 17 and 18 March 2025 at the Congress Center of Messe Frankfurt, addressed this goal.

Experts from the sanitation, real estate and housing industries as well as political decision-makers, representatives of local authorities and international delegations, non-governmental and development organisations met here.

Through thoughtful dialogue and collaborative engagement, the conference seeked to accelerate progress towards achieving sustainable and equitable water solutions worldwide. The vision of the expert meeting point was to elevate water sustainability as a critical agenda item within the HVAC, water and building industry, empowering businesses to recognize their unique opportunities to drive meaningful impact through collaboration and innovation.

The programme of the ‘Value of Water’ conference offered a varied mix of keynotes, impulses, panel talks and international best practice presentations from different countries and initiatives. The breakout sessions in particular invited in-depth dialogue and offer space for new collaborations.
